Leanne is an accomplished singer, musician and songwriter penning Grassland hits like “Rockstar”, “FairWeather Friend” and the popular “Lipstick and Tattoos”.

Through her writing and music, she delivers powerful and accomplished vocals to expressive storytelling contributing her vocal talents and creative perspective to the group’s distinctive blend of music genres.

Leanne grew up surrounded by musicians and singers and naturally developed a passion for singing.  Playing saxophone in high school, she was the drum major in her senior year.  Marching band continued at Georgia Southern University where she studied music. Now she is employed at the University of Georgia.

In addition to Grassland, Leanne also performs with the roots group LeeRoy Voodoo with her husband Jason.
