By the time bassist Jeff Rieter joined Grassland full-time in 2023 there was a sense that he was already part of the family.  Jeff has been heavily involved in the Athens, Georgia and regional music scene playing with multiple bands, including Larry’s Homework and Norma Rae and often crossed paths at festivals and shows with Grassland.  That familiarity made Jeff a perfect fit!  Jeff is also an avid runner.
